Much faster
The new XKit back-end, re-written from the ground up, is up to 10x times faster, and uses up to 5x less CPU, so you can spend more time blogging, and less time waiting.

Classics, re-imagined.
Nearly all the extensions have been re-written to be much faster, and easier to use. Now you can select multiple notifications, preview notifications without hovering, and much more.

Always Up-to-date.
In addition to the background Automatic Update Checking, XKit 6 now has the "XKit News", keeping you informed when a new extension is released, or when Tumblr changes something.

Do more, more quickly.
The brand-new user interface in XKit lets you quickly manage extensions and get new ones. You can even file a bug report without leaving your dashboard.

Huge-Ass Warning Sign
Before downloading this release, please read the important information below.
This release is for testing purposes.
The reason behind this release it to test drive the performance and the new features of XKit 6 before it is "properly" released. I am counting on you to report the bugs so they can be fixed before the release. Don't worry though, if you need help, all you need to do is send me an ask.
This is just a "Preview" release.
Some features like Themes, Shorten Posts, and Timestamps are missing from the extension gallery. They will be added as soon as they are done, but for the time being, upgrading to XKit 6.0 Preview Release will mean that you won't have those features.
This release is incomplete.
Even though if you download an extension, it might be missing some features. Clicking on some of the buttons might produce a "To-do!" message, or not do anything at all.
All your XKit 5.x/4.x settings will be reset.
Since XKit 6 is incompatible with XKit 5 or 4, your settings will be reset after you upgrade.
This red box made you uncomfortable? Stay with XKit 5.
If you are uncomfortable with the idea of using an incomplete, "test" release extension, I recommend you stay with XKit 5 until XKit 6 is released properly. Thank you.
